I managed program needs, proposal development & implementation, and the production facility for this cultural sector program with the mandate to preserve and promote Tanzania's musical heritage. 

I produced nine albums of traditional music from 3 regions of Tanzania. The Archive was launched in Sept. 2001. The promotion component was fulfilled through the production of musical albums, radio programs and music & film festivals.

I worked as producer, audio engineer & digital projectionist for this series of Swahili language film screenings in Hanang, a remote district of Arusha region,northern Tanzania. The films shown were intended to raise social awareness about HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, and democracy with regard to rural development.

I was manager and producer for this festival, my duties ranged from fund raising to engineering, from commercial production to stage construction. The events featured music, dance, acrobatics and film screenings. Attendance was estimated around 12,000 people in two locations. Major sponsor was CRDB Bank Tanzania LTD.
