JUNIOR SPECIAL AGENT - DEA: TARGET AMERICA EXHIBIT at the CA SCIENCE CENTER
JUNIOR SPECIAL AGENT: Drug Bust!
Through an immersive theater experience, ride along with seasoned California drug
enforcement officers on a simulated drug bust. Discover the science, technology and skill of
surveillance and apprehension.
Junior Special Agent was truly a one-of-a-kind production, creating a chance for viewers to get the feel of the dangerous tasks accomplished by DEA agents in the field. This work was written and directed by Liz Radley and produced by Cathleen Alexander.
The video screens shown below playback the work of a unique three camera HD set-up, rigged on a steadicam by John Monsour, which was manufactured to simulate the vision and movements of the "Junior Special Agent", making this video experience an immersion in a day in the life of a DEA agent on a bust. Michel & Rosa recorded location audio in a variety of ways to suit the needs of this special video installation. From conventional "double system" recording, to using digital hard disk recorders on individual agents, we made sure the Post Supervisor, Cameron Pearce, had all he needed to make the sound design for this video powerful and impacting.
Please do go and see this important exhibit at the CA Science Center, while there is still time - it's open through May 3rd, 2009!
